We’ve stayed here several times in the past couple years, so we’ve got to know the staff very well. Every interaction is unique and they truly make us feel like family. Our dog runs around greeting everyone she meets here, she loves staying here and she puts a smile on every person she meets face.
I’m unsure how this place only have 3.2 stars vs horse cave motel, I’d rather spend my entire paycheck too sleep here than horse cave motel, the lady that helped us today was a great person, though the rooms aren’t ideal, at least they don’t breathe down you’re neck and walk into you’re rooms while you’re trying too sleep asking a bunch of weird questions! Y’all are the best here in horse cave!
Room was a little run down we got a jacuzzi tub with a king bed. The bed was comfy good place to spend a night wasnt busy close to the caves not a bad place to stop the jacuzzi was nice just the hot and cold handles were falling off the tub but everything still ran fine the hotel just needed a little updating but other then that it was a pretty okay place to lay your head.
Rm 139-The room was clean. Needs attention to some leaks in bathroom. Shower water volume was limited. DO NOT USE CONDITIONER it will never rinse out! Quiet area. Didn't take long to get to all the touristy areas from the hotel.
I had immediately booked this hotel because it being extremely affordable and very close to Kentucky Down Under. After reading reviews I cancelled my reservation and kept searching. In the end, we ended up just going here. Upon arriving at the hotel I was hesitant on what we would find. I explained to the front desk clerk (Brooke) and told her the reviews scared me off and I was leery. Brooke really made me feel safe and that there's nothing wrong with the hotel or rooms. We had gotten the 2 queen beds and jacuzzi room. In the end, people who do reviews sometimes only review a place if something happened and they didn't like it, compared to ppl who if everything goes well, usually they just let it go and never write a review if everything was great. OVERALL: the jacuzzi worked perfectly, but didn't see any of the stuff that the reviews talked about. This place is extremely affordable when it comes to some hotels. 2 nights for around $150 for a room that has a jacuzzi in it, not to mention 2 queen beds. Brooke was amazing. She could tell I was very concerned and she reassured me that if there's any issues she would take care of it personally. She is the perfect example of great customer service and was very sweet, professional, and very helpful! If ever I am back in the area, this is definitely where I will be staying! She is a hard worker and really shows she cares! She deserves a raise/promotion if she has not gotten either for awhile! Many hotels need individuals like her!!!
The hotel looks like new! Just look at the photos and you will understand everything! As well as free breakfast and parking. And it’s only for $50! I highly recommend it! Regarding the receptionist, the Turkish man was very good and helpful and I will come back here again
